Job Description:

This individual will work with Veeva to support the implementation and configuration of Veeva Vault platforms. The individual will collaborate with the client IT stakeholders, scientists, and Veeva to discuss and document business requirements and configure the system per business needs. The individual will provide Veeva project oversight, ensure timelines and milestones are met.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Responsible for business requirement gathering, and solution recommendations for Veeva Vault.
  • Veeva Vault system administration
  • Configure Veeva Vault per business needs.
  • Create additional SDLC documents as required for Veeva implementation (Project Val Plan/Report, System Impact Assessment, User Acceptance Test scripts, Risk Assessment, etc.)
  • Act as the liaison between customer and Veeva to implement system rollout and updates.
  • Identify work process or data entry deficiencies and offer solutions.
  • Suggest best practices for creation of documents/clinical trial information, templates, and workflows.
  • Create and test existing workflows and templates.
  • Create Veeva training materials specific to client needs
  • Work with Veeva, internal, and external parties to log, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.

Qualifications:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

Education / Experience:

  • 5+ years in a Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
  • BS or M.S in Life Science or related field.
  • Prior experience in supporting one or more Veeva Vault Applications: Quality (QualityDocs, QMS), Clinical (eTMF, CTMS), RIM (Submissions, Registrations) required.
  • Veeva Administration Certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of SDLC methodology and GxP guidelines.
  • Knowledge of Biopharmaceutical R&D IT Systems a plus.
  • Relevant office productivity tools, such as Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google office).
  • Relevant workflow and drawing tools, such as Viso, Lucidchart, SmartSheet is a plus.
