The Role:

The Benchling ELN Lead Analyst will implement and support customization and configurations of Benchling ELN. They will collaborate with the client IT stakeholders, scientists, and vendors to discuss and document business requirements and implementation approaches. They will also assist in user training, data migration, and technical support.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for business requirement gathering and solution recommendations
  • Implement ELN customization and configuration
  • Act as the liaison between customer and vendor to implement system rollout and updates
  • Identify work process or data entry deficiencies and offer solutions
  • Review relevant data model configuration and recommend changes if needed
  • Suggest best practices for the creation of entities, templates, and workflows
  • Create and test existing workflows and templates
  • Create ELN training materials for clients
  • Troubleshoot application

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years of work experience in functional or cross functional roles
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Life Science or related field
  • Understanding of SDLC methodology is a plus
  • Some experience preferably in Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences industry
  • Experience with software, data design, and data models
  • Knowledge of Biopharmaceutical R&D IT Systems a plus
  • Relevant office productivity tools such as Microsoft suite or Google office
  • Relevant workflow and drawing tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or SmartSheet
