System Applications Support Associate

General Summary

As a member of the System Applications Support team, the Systems Support Associate role will provide technical support and limited systems administration to SR internal and hosted software and applications.  

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with System Application Analyst to provide administrative support for Salesforce: user management, develop/maintain reports, views and dashboards, work closely with the management teams to ensure the application provides the capabilities needed to the sales team as the organization expands and evolves.
  • Work closely with System Application Engineer to provide administrative support for the SR financial management system and associated applications.
  • Will share responsibility with System Application Support team for corporate wide user management (on-board and off-board) across SR enterprise infrastructure systems including, but not limited to the following:
    • MS Active Directory
    • Exchange (email)
    • Collaboration tools (MS Lync/Skype)
    • IT Service System (HelpDesk)
  • Accurately administers and manages the user security access to various technical resources such as file and folder access.
  • Creates and maintain documentation for key processes and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates and aids with operations and support teams to provide support, streamline processes, improve efficiencies and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of internal process to improve efficiencies in IT operational procedures.
  • Provides support and assistance to the System Application Support team to ensure proper user authentication/authorization, e-mail client application, software distribution and patch management.
  • Maintains documentation for key supported technologies, processes and procedures.
  • Provides support with corporate wide application implementations project management tasks.
  • Performs other duties as may be required by supervisor.

Citizenship

  • This position requires US Citizenship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Ability to learn and leverage new process-related technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office Suite Products.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience with ERP systems.
  • 2 years experience in IT related fields.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Must be able to work under stress with short timelines.
  • Ability and affinity to succeed in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, multi-task and adapt to changes quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, weekends, holidays or on call as needed.
  • Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal & presentation skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to provide technical support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.
  • Must be a team player and cultivate partnerships within the organization.
  • Demonstrate sound business ethics.

Physical Demands

  • This position is typically required to work in an office setting using a computer for extended periods of time.
