The Manager, Portfolio, Operations & Finance will report to the Director, Finance & Operations Lead and assist the Head of Program Management, Business Operations, & Continuous Improvement on all operational activities impacting the Digital Health, Medicines & AI Unit.
This position will serve a horizontal function across Portfolio, Operations & Finance including Reporting, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Financial Management and ACD.
The Manager role will have a strong understanding of the Digital Organization, the DHMAI Unit and the A&D Organization. The colleague will understand the siloed disciplines as well as the needs of the overall unit. The colleague will be able to make recommendations for alignment and improvement and will develop and manage processes and reports to ensure transparency and consistency while meeting the requirements of both the individual towers and leadership.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Primary Queue Manger for the A&D Organization across all towers.
Serve as the data steward for the A&D portfolio to ensure all projects are captured within P3 and accurate.
Assist the Portfolio Director with A&D Governance, and portfolio management to ensure standardization across towers
Partner with other portfolio manager to Mature Resource & Capacity Management process
Assist Portfolio Director and Finance & Operations Lead with the Ongoing Cost Transfers to ensure streamlined process and accuracy
Understand financial processes within Pfizer Digital, support the monthly close, Budget and LE submissions as needed
Build relationships with leaders and stakeholders across Digital and the creation centers to understand their goals and strategic direction and act as a single point of contact for all portfolio and reporting needs
Align solution tower requirements related to portfolio, finance, or reporting to overall creation center strategy
Assist with monthly production of the Management Reports, including all portfolio and financial status, top projects, recent accomplishments, highlight slides, and recognitions
Foster engagement by increasing opportunities to embrace joy, equity, and transparency
Assist with all activities pertaining to colleague engagement as needed
Assist with ad hoc operational activities as they pertain to all DHMAI Unit activity
Minimum 5 years’ experience
BA or BS degree
Comprehensive knowledge of Portfolio & Reporting practices
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, accrual, and reclass processes for both US and x-US markets
Experience in managing business relationships
Comfortable with cross-Digital disciplines and how they intersect
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed sense of responsibility and discretion
Demonstrated success in applying independent judgment
Proven ability to manage to financial goals
Ability to work comfortably with senior colleagues
