In this dynamic role you will lead the Reliability Program in the Manufacturing and Clinical Supply (MCS) network by securing alignment on the strategic direction, accurately measuring of our progress toward achieving it, and playing a lead role in defining, streamlining, implementing, and maturing our Reliability and Sustainability programs for MCS. Responsibilities include:

  • Employ Business Analytics to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities for Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Work Execution Management, Condition Monitoring, Predictive Maintenance and Asset Management programs

  • Support implementation of business processes network wide to ensure reliability of supply, efficient raw material management, and agility to meet clinical and commercial speed to market and manufacturing flexibility

  • Develop & Design Multi-Year Reliability roadmap and ensure its flawless execution with close collaboration/partnership with MCS and Global Network

  • Lead Multi-faceted and Cross-functional Reliability program while Aligning, Developing, Designing & Managing the Reliability Engineering programs in MCS and Leading the MCS global life cycle asset management program

  • Due to the dynamic nature of the organization candidate should have the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize team activities and projects based on changing MCS requirements

  • Facilitate strategy and operational meetings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant work experience in operations/manufacturing regulated environment (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA preferred) OR Masters degree and 6 years of relevant work experience in operations/manufacturing regulated environment (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA preferred) OR Bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant work experience in operations/manufacturing regulated environment (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA preferred) OR Associates degree and 10 years of relevant work experience in operations/manufacturing regulated environment (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA preferred) OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of relevant work experience in operations/manufacturing regulated environment (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA preferred)

  • Previous people management experience and/or experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering/technical field

  • 10+ years relevant work experience in operations/manufacturing regulated environments (i.e. cGMP, OSHA, EPA) preferred

  • 4+ years of Reliability/Engineering management experience

  • Professional Certifications such as: Certified Maintenance and Reliability professional (CMRP), Certified Reliability Leader (CRL), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED AP BD+C, Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), or Certified Measurement and Verification (CMVP)

  • Technical Certification in predictive technologies

  • In-depth experience in identifying projects/initiatives to define environmental sustainability, asset reliability, and program management

  • In-depth reliability and maintenance systems experience from developing the reliability roadmap to its successful connection to operations and implementation

  • Ability to lead and deliver results in an interactive cross functional environment

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, relationship building, and leadership skills

  • Experience and /or knowledge of industrial, laboratory and relevant manufacturing environments and systems including but not limited to boilers, chilled water plants, refrigeration, compressed air, process heating / cooling, motors, pumps, HVAC and lighting, construction, Manufacturing process/equipment in Biologics, and Automation/Control systems.

  • Knowledge of engineering principles to determine attainable savings (energy and utility costs) for various energy- and water- conservation measures

  • Capable of developing and supporting detailed engineering analysis spreadsheets to support project design, development, and capital planning

  • Experience or exposure to measurement and verification (M&V) and international measurement and verification protocol such as IPMVP is desirable

  • Experience working on LEED projects or LEED certification

  • Experience in sustainability assessments (including carbon footprint elimination, water consumption reduction, and waste minimization)

  • Experience in implementing engineering projects and program management

  • Experience with data analytics and management software applications (Tableau, Smartsheet, SIMCA, SEEQ, Spotfire, etc.)
