 Your role

Under the supervision of the QC Microbiology Manager, the candidate is responsible for the coordination and execution of activities for quality control programs including the following responsibilities: 

 What your days would look like: 

  • Assist with the transitioning of an ongoing Environmental monitoring (EM) program into a commercial phase by participating in the identification and recommendation of more efficient processes.
  • The incumbent will perform the following activities and also play a Lead role:
    • Perform Environmental Monitoring and utilities sampling duties to ensure that the GMP processing area is in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
    • Perform conductivity, Endotoxin, and TOC  testing for in-process samples, utilities, cleaning validation, and raw materials. 
    • Responsible for performing bioburden testing of raw materials, In-process, utilities samples, and any non-routing testing such as Biological Indicator.
    • Perform conductivity and TOC testing of utilities and sample and raw materials. 
  • Responsible for scheduling routine and non-routine sampling and testing
  • Responsible for technical writing assignments such as Quality events (deviations, change controls, and CAPAs).
  • Responsible for EM quarterly reports, data entries in LIMS,  Alerts, and Action reports.
  • Prepare and provide timely and accurate reports and assessments of assigned projects. 
  • Participate in problem-solving exercises to identify the potential root causes in a cross-functional team.
  • Responsible for executing validation/verification protocols. 
  • Ensure maintenance of laboratory equipment is performed in accordance with QC procedures.

  

Preferred profile: 

  • Associate degree in science with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering with a minimum of 4 years of biopharmaceutical experience. 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral required.
  • Experienced working in a cGMP environment and FDA/USP guidelines.
