How You Will Achieve It
  • Provide guidance, lead and develop Automated Visual Inspection strategies across multiple product presentations to allow Vx Inspection to meet timeline obligations

  • Project management co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives including lean manufacturing or IMex element, CI/Safety/TPM/5S

  • Support of process life cycle of new process equipment -> PERD (pharmaceutical equipment requirements document creation), design review, Factory acceptance testing (FAT), Site acceptance testing (SAT), validation (VT)

  • Lead and support deployment of new inspection processes as an SME for Inspection compendial requirements, and statistical analysis (QM authoring, Minitab)

  • Collaborate with material suppliers and vendors to improve incoming material quality and reduce variation

  • Drive emergency evaluation and action through eGCR/SCAR when product parameters fall outside of expected AVI tolerances

  • Contribute to the completion of complex projects, manage own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for work activities on own projects within a team.

  • Develop and validate manufacturing processes for drug products.

  • Create and review Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} documentation, including batch records, product specific cleaning assessments, and Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Supports manufacturing in trouble-shooting investigations and owning Corrective Action / Preventative Action to prevent recurrence.

  • Provide operations expertise in new line/processes that the role is directly associated with/responsible.

  • Lead all applicable Environmental related tasks, initiatives, training, and services that adhere to Pfizer Global Environment, Health & Safety Standards, state and federal regulatory compliance.

  • Provide subject matter expert input to regulatory inspections.

  • Ensure adherence to compliance and data integrity requirements.

QualificationsMust-Have
  • BS in Engineering, business, or Science required with at least 3 years of any work experience and at least 2 years working directly with automated visual inspection equipment (required), candidates with MS of advanced science degrees with at least 1 year of experience will also be considered

  • Strong communication skills and attention to details

Nice-to-Have
  • Master's degree

  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience

  • strong demonstrated technical skills exhibited in a cGMP environment

  • Experience in a cGMP environment including specific knowledge of and experience with Drug Product processing and equipment is highly desirable.

  • Strong technical writing skills.

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks over the course of a normal workday

  • Strong problem-solving skills


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Job will include standing, walking, and sitting. Occasional lifting may be required.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Up to 5% domestic and/or international travel

  • Job may also require occasional weekend/evening work supporting a 24-hour/7 day operation
