What You Will Achieve
You will lead and one or more project teams engaged in execution of Business Development transactions at Pfizer. You will prepare project execution plans and identify appropriate Digital and business resources needed for the team. Through your expertise, you will ensure that diligence deliverables and transaction milestones are completed on schedule, within budget and meet Pfizer’s Business Development objectives.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will facilitate in explaining difficult issues and establishing consensus between teams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The Acquisitions, Collaborations and Divestituresteam continues to execute against a large portfolio of Acquisitions, Divestures and Strategic Alliances. This position will manage a blend of responsibilities across transactions driving Digital milestones to enable Pfizer’s Business Development Strategy. This will primarily focus on delivering on our Acquisitions, Collaborations and Divestitureslicensing portfolio and assisting on small to medium transactions. This position will also help identify areas for innovation and continuous improvement and work with necessary teams to find more efficient mechanisms to meet requirements.
Under general supervision this role will:
Execute collaboration and licensing initiatives for Acquisitions, Collaborations and Divestiturescoordinating between customers and with alliance vendor to manage volume, priorities, and execution
Actively track status for collaboration and licensing initiatives and build reports to enable management decisions
Develop and document standardization for Digital support of licensing engagements including templates and guidance documents
Support Acquisitions, Collaborations and DivestituresTransaction leads in managing transaction responsibilities and enable members of the Acquisitions, Collaborations and Divestituresteam in day-to-day operations that enable efficient management of Acquisitions, Collaborations and Divestituresdeal activity
Support Acquisitions, Collaborations and Divestituresleads to guide transaction strategy, partner with Business Development and Functional Business leads to identify key value capture and align Digital plan development
Partner with the Program Management & Finance Acquisitions, Collaborations and Divestituresteam to standardize the Digital diligence processes and templates, enabling consistent, repeatable processes
Support the transaction execution process, standing up program teams, developing cross-functional project plans, managing key decisions and escalations across various transactions including acquisitions and licensing programs
Partner with program leadership in business development and core business lines (product development, supply chain, manufacturing, commercial) to ensure transaction objectives are met.
Partner with Acquisitions, Collaborations and DivestituresDomain leads across Digital to build and develop cross-functional program project plans, track and manage risks and ensure on-time execution across all Digital lines
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required, major in a technical field such as Information Technology or Life Sciences a plus
3 years of experience in Digital
1 year of experience supporting an Acquisition, Divestiture or Alliance
Facilitation, negotiating and presentation skills
Ability to work in ambiguous situations
Demonstrated skills in analysis and problem solving
Demonstrated ability to perform technical project management
Knowledge of software development life cycles and project management processes
Able to work on cross-functional teams and independently
Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders and senior business leadership
