How You Will Achieve It

  • Provide guidance, lead/co-lead projects, manage own time to meet objectives and plan resource requirements for projects across the division.

  • Act as a thought leader on emerging digital technologies.

  • Work within a team of product managers responsible for the vision, strategy, design, and roadmap of digital products for patients and the internal stakeholders.

  • Use technical acumen and knowledge of technologies to provide detailed advice regarding applications and executes specialized tasks.

  • Analyze support trends, identify and lead implementation of process improvements.

  • Evaluate historical data and build appropriate models to understand user behavior, business trends, and performance.

  • Collaborate with the Global Business Intelligence (GBI) regional and global colleagues for successful delivery of multiple projects.

  • Ensure the delivery of project management deliverables as defined for the size, scale, complexity and regulatory compliance of the assigned program or project.

  • Ensure proper Systems Development Lifecycle Management Regulatory Compliance.

  • Deliver fully automation regression testing of major solutions for reduced testing time.

  • Ensure application changes and fixes are aligned with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Change Management processes.

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with Pfizer teams through a high performing engagement model, including vibrant Communities of Practice.

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Pfizer’s Digital GBS and Enabling Functions Global Business Systems organization.

This a manager role in the Global Business System Process Mining at Pfizer (PM@P) innovation team. The PM@P capability engages with business and Digital teams horizontally across the entire Pfizer enterprise, hosting process mining activities and supporting the actions needed to help identify and drive efficiencies at Pfizer. The PM@P platform team manages the data intake from source systems and supports the application areas in how to effectively utilize the PM@P platform and data.

The PM@P platform manager will be central to managing and monitoring the Celonis platform, its data engineering activities, and the management of application areas to ensure they are performing process mining activities in an efficient and effective way. They will manage all activity in the process mining platform, including intake and structure of the teams, the analysis of customer's business systems data and activities, oversee the ingestion and usage of the data used in the Celonis platform, and the change controls and migration of those components as they move to production for business utilization. They will govern the use cases and develop data models and metrics to solve these problems, and help our customers understand the information, and achieve efficiencies.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work directly with business and creation center subject matter experts to manage extraction of data from source systems and translate them into process mining data models.

  • Maintain and optimize data model extraction, translation, and load processing in Celonis, so that the source data is available to the analysis application area teams in an optimal frequency and scope.

  • Research & implement best practices to enhance existing the Process Mining @ Pfizer infrastructure

  • Guide and lead support resources to manage the PM@P platforms and supporting components.

  • Analyze large and complex data sets to derive valuable insights

  • Assist delivery teams to structure and implement actions in the PM@P platform in a secure and compliant manner

  • Responsible for work packages related to Process Mining topics, specify, and design process mining methods and integrate or implement these into products.

  • Create prototypes and work closely with the process area team to deliver features into the platform, evaluate and define test strategies for delivering high quality product features and capabilities of the Celonis product for optimal use at Pfizer.

  • Evaluate and test process mining capabilities and maintain a high level of quality.

  • Create data definitions and contribute to data storage infrastructure for the PM@P programs purposes and manage the process mining architecture.

  • Resolve process mining performance issues and monitor process mining system performance and implement efficiency improvements.

  • Explore data sources, implement data exploration, pre-processing and data cleansing on the source system data.

  • Understand data and evaluate data quality from both data science and business value perspectives.

  • Prepare the platform data for future mining efforts.

  • Work with application developers, process mining engineers closely to ensure the models are optimized and implemented into the platform through prototyping and proof of concept exercises.

  • Monitor the support level being provided to process mining business participants and adjust based on factors such as growth and/or complexity.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years’ experience

  • Expertise and hands on experience with the Celonis data engineering / data mining capabilities

  • Database and data warehousing engineering experience

  • Strong SQL/PQL/Python

  • SQL performance / optimization tuning

  • Regulatory, compliance and risk management knowledge.

  • Collaborative, must work with diverse business area and Digital colleagues horizontally across the organization

  • Demonstrated experience of various Information Technology practices

  • Experience with System Application and Products eDoc framework

  • Familiar with product analytics and strong ability to carry out analysis related to customer journey, user activity, product/feature performance and other digital analytics

  • Understanding of Financial concepts and key success factors for business performance

  • Knowledge of management reporting requirements and functional design

  • Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Ability to manage large, complex efforts across many organizations

  • Experience working in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.

  • Positive and promotional outlook for the Process Mining capability and possibilities

  • Executive facing communications, and the ability to manage difficult conversations with leaders at all levels

  • Internal SAP data model knowledge is preferred

  • Internal Workday, Veeva, Model-N Revenue Management, or ServiceNow is helpful

  • Master's degree

  • Relevant pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Management consulting experience

  • Experience with Agile Software Delivery and/or Scrum Master Certification

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, preferably Commercial or sales and marketing
