Specific Education & Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant experience and a BA or BS or; 6+ years of relevant experience and a MS or MBA
  • Relevant experience consists of work in a scientific field or equivalent experience in association with R&D project teams and/or in cross-functional project management activities.
  • PMP is a plus, Biologics experience is a plus. Smartsheet experience is a plus.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
  • Management of team of project managers supporting capital and operational expense projects, as needed to support PMO.
  • Facilitate Program Team governance meetings as required to support PPM PMO.
  • Develop scope, schedule and budgets for facilities/equipment and construction based capital and operational expense projects to support portfolio projects.
  • Change Management and Asset induction and Maintenance experience is a plus.
  • Draft and Manage execution of contracts for equipment/facilities and construction projects.
  • Align efforts with site business processes and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement projects
  • Facilitate and align with project teams for communications highlighting project risks and providing clarity for options analysis, informs and escalations to management.
  • Develop budget and actualize expenses monthly with technical project team leads.
  • Tracks and reports on status of non-routine tasks and action items including issuance of meeting minutes
  • Assists in technical, financial, and organizational issues by researching issues, providing recommendations and maintaining document archives.
  • Ensures project work complies with established practices, policies and processes.
  • Generates periodic project team and sub-team non-routine updates and prepares formal presentations as required.
  • Works with project resource analysts to prepare status reports, specific project updates, or scenarios as requested.
  • Develop team KPIs and metrics for performance, team dashboards and reporting.
  • Develop and evaluate Lessons Learned to provide a feedback loop to different functions for potential improvement opportunities.
