The Role: BigHat Biosciences is seeking an exceptional individual to support next-generation antibody development for BigHat’s therapeutic programs. 

Works closely with other executives and senior leaders; and has broad responsibilities across BigHat for pipeline development.
Key Responsibilities The goals and responsibilities of this position include: 
  • Execute on projects advancing molecules from lead to therapeutic candidate nomination by managing PK, PD, and toxicological assessment in relevant animal models
  • Develop the key assays for advancing lead molecules, including assay development in-house and management of relationships with CROs where appropriate
  • Work closely with Protein Sciences to ensure molecule production and quality meet requirements for downstream development needs
  • Collaborate across BigHat to ensure our platform capabilities enable the preclinical development of state-of-the-art biologics uniquely possible on BigHat’s platform

About You
  • A dynamic thinker with a 2+ year track record of performing key aspects of therapeutic development (PK, toxicology, in vivo PD, tissue cross-reactivity, etc.) at a top-tier biopharmaceutical company or academic institution along with a strong understanding of the underlying science (PhD preferred).
  • Able to prioritize and execute on multiple projects in an organized and timely manner
  • A desire to contribute your unique skills to the broader BigHat team to advance our therapeutics portfolio and build better, safer medicines for patients. 
  • A get-it-done mentality; experience operating in lean organizational structures.
  • Superb execution and communication skills
