This role can be on-site with flexibility in Sleepy Hollow, NY or fully remote.
As an Associate Director, Medical Information you provide product and medical communication expertise to external healthcare professionals, patients and internal colleagues. We develop and maintain audience appropriate standard medical response documents, product dossiers, scientific Q&As and provide scientific/medical review of promotional and medical materials. You will execute on our medical affairs strategy, while maintaining adherence to departmental/company policies, procedures and are compliant with all applicable regulations and industry standards.

A typical day will include the following: 
Coordinating with the Medical Information Team Lead in determining product standard response topics and leading the development and maintenance of high-quality medical response documents to answer unsolicited product inquiries from external healthcare professionals and patients/caregivers for assignment products
Participating on pre-and post-launch activities ensuring Medical Information preparedness for successful product/indication launches
Providing product support and guidance to our Call Center colleagues, including inquiry management
Participating in formulary submission dossiers
Contributing to the development of and provides review for accuracy, relevance, and completeness of data for Medical Affairs slide desks, Scientific Q&As, Backgrounders, white papers, etc.
Maintaining core product reference literature, as well as, key competitor and disease literature references
Representing Medical Information on Medical and Promotional Review Committees
Providing conference support through staffing of our medical affairs booths for disease state awareness campaigns and medical information at branded booths

To be considered an advanced scientific degree in pharmacy (PharmD) or related science (PhD, MD) is required as is a 5+ years of proven experience in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical Industry working in Medical Affairs or related field. A minimum of 2 years Medical Information experience, including review of promotional materials is required. Advanced understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements and limitations applicable to medical information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and maintain flexibility. Ability to travel to meetings/conferences approximately 20% of the time
