In this vital role you will be a key member of the U.S. Value & Access organization responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a plan of action for pricing, reimbursement, and contracting strategy to improve payer coverage within pricing goals. The Sr Associate will conduct qualitative and quantitative pricing/contracting analyses to support brand contracting and coverage strategy. The Senior Associate will help develop and implement coverage and pricing strategy for the inflammation portfolio. They will capture, analyze, and synthesize cross-functional information to support scenario-planning and customer insight.

In this dynamic environment, this role interacts cross functionally with Market Access, Value Marketing, Patient Access, Ecosystems & Insights, Sales, Brand Marketing, Government Affairs, Trade & Distribution, Business Unit Leadership, Finance, Accounting, and Legal. This role will provide a strong foundation in the U.S. healthcare market and is a good avenue to many future commercial healthcare roles. Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Support Coverage & Pricing plan of action for inflammation products, including strategy presentation development for internal and external partners

  • Engage with field teams (Sales & Market Access) to receive, prioritize, and handle account inquiries and customer responses

  • Participate in pricing and contracting scenarios, contract decisions, LEDR and LRS

  • Track Market Access payer coverage/POA goals, develop and maintain dashboard activities

  • Lead cross-functional special projects and support development of internal and external communications, including navigating materials approval process

  • Routinely interact with senior leadership and other high-level, cross functional committees or teams

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with collaborators; seeks consensus and provides ongoing support to address business needs with internal collaborators and external partners, including Market Access (field), and specialty pharmacy partners

What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications

Masters degree and 2 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Or

Bachelors degree and 4 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Or

Associates degree and 7 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Or

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting- and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently and achieve results with multiple competing priorities

  • Outstanding written/oral communication skills and executive presence across functions and across different levels of leadership

  • Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and handle execution

  • Experience solving sophisticated business problems and running analytics projects.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech environment. Consistent track record of growing responsibility.

  • Authoritative command of complexity and ambiguity; ability to see the big picture; ability to collect, digest and assemble information to enable relevant business analyses

  • Experience in understanding modeling, being able to analyze, and draw conclusions from multiple, sophisticated data sources

  • Vendor / Agency management experience

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills

  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to influence different styles

  • Adapts in a evolving and fast paced environment

  • Experience navigating the evolving U.S. healthcare system with specific interest on the interactions between Government and Healthcare.
