As a Sr Manager Strategic Business Planning & Execution you will provide project management support to our Global Medical Affairs Head and Medical Directors. 


Primary responsibilities include supporting the strategic and tactical planning, budget preparation, management, forecasting and accrual management
Additional responsibilities include the planning & management of project team meetings, adboard preparation & execution, and other operational business needs. As part of this Medical Affairs team the PM will drive process improvement initiatives as needed. Ensures efficient execution of the Medical Affairs Product Plans (MPPs) and manage cross-functional collaborations with our internal and external alliance partners. 

A typical day may inlcude:
•    Collaborating with GCO, the Alliance & other functional 
•    Conducting kickoff, core team, and line function meetings
•    Ensuring ownership for all tactics are completed on time and within budget
•    Facilitating the resolution of risks, delays and or changes on the tactical execution
•    Translating project program imperatives resulting in seamless execution
•    Works with GMA TA Lead and HEOR Lead/PM on priorities and ensure optimal execution in alignment with strategic approach
•    Manages operational plans and associated budgets working in collaboration with Finance
•    Provides project-related support to all process-related aspects with regards to the implementation and execution of publication plans, advisory boards, expert consultations, steering/scientific committees and management of outside vendors
•    Ensures compliant execution of activities and assists with the review and development of departmental procedural documents in accordance with Agency regulations and guidance
•    Support the TA Lead on the development and management of TA department metrics and oversees/leads special projects as needed (e.g. Dashboard, Integrated Project Plans, Goals & Achievements) for TA Supported
•    Ensures well-aligned and effective teamwork between internal Regeneron functions and business partners relevant to the US and Global franchise teams.
•    Support the execution and building of strategic needs around business process enhancement needs and designing adequate platforms to support current and future business needs.
•    Accountable for handling project budgets and managing related expenses and assists TA Lead of Medical Affairs with departmental-wide budget planning and forecasting.
•    Works in a goal/objective oriented manner within formalized process to plan and implement annual goals. 
•    Takes matrix leadership role and/or participates as active member on cross functional teams. Leads a multifunctional team with line accountability to functional fields. Ensures teams conduct activities with appropriate timeliness. 
•    Collaborate with the commercial/marketing organization in an appropriate manner to ensure commercial strategy, plan and execution incorporate medical input and direction.
•    Ensuring that all medical affairs activities in support of the product adhere to all relevant industry regulations and guidelines, such as OIG and The Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

To be considered for this, you should have a Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years’ experience working in healthcare/pharmaceutical/biotechnology field working knowledge of drug development. An advance degree and PMP certification is helpful. The position requires strong knowledge of applicable regulatory agency regulations, guidelines and/or specifications (eg. FDA, EMA, ICH). Experience initiating and leading large, cross-function projects through to completion. Experience with Early Phase assets would be helpful.
