Job Description

Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Research Associate to join our talented team based at our site in Solana Beach, San Diego. 

This role is permanent, fulltime and you will assist senior researchers in the fermentation and purification of proteins to be used in immunoassays.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Buffer preparation
  • Protein purification
  • Documentation of fermentation, expression, purification, etc.
  • Cataloguing reagents and chemical inventory
  • Ensure training related to all relevant Quality Management System training and procedures is up to date.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail skills, along with the following experience: 

  • BA/BS in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, or related discipline.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Familiarity with DNA and protein preferred.
