How you will Achieve More with Intellia:
Intellia is hiring a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our growing team! In this role, you will perform detailed quantitative analysis for operational and strategic planning. You will partner with the TechOps teams to translate activities and headcount projections into budgets and forecasts. You will track budget-to-actual performance on a monthly basis for management reporting.
Additional responsibilities include:
Define, develop, and improve processes around the financial planning, tracking, and reporting of CMC and Quality spend
Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts for CMC and Quality
Update and improve Inception-to-Date activity-based accrual and forecasts models
Work with business leads and vendors as needed to obtain work status reports and projections for accruals and forecasts
Manage day-to-day purchase requisition approvals, resolve ad-hoc invoicing issues, and update out-of-budget activities as part of live-forecast
Design and develop an efficient process to track and report actual spendingfor multi-component activities
Update project-related consulting budgets and projections on a quarterly basis
About You:

Bachelors or Masters in Accounting or Finance
Knowledge of accounting systems, principles, practices, and procedures
Strong Excel skills and proficiency in PowerPoint
Experience with Oracle Fusion and other ERP system
Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Keen to learn new technology and the science
Ability to interact with all levels of business
Meet your future team:
This role reports to the Associate Director, FP&A. You will work directly with the other members of the close-knit Finance and Accounting team, and functional departments across the company. While a small team of 9, you will join a group of passionate individuals who enjoy working with one another. Overseen by our Chief Financial Officer, the broader teams Financial Reporting and Internal Controls, Equity and Payroll, Procurement, IT, Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, and Facility Operations.
The team currently contains both hybrid and remote employees. While we don’t require you to be local to Cambridge MA office, if local we do offer flexibility to work from home. Although in a partially virtual environment, the FP&A team has made it a priority to continue to foster a sense of community among the group.
