Role summaryOperation and Maintaining the Central Utility Plant that include:
Biomass and gas boilers
Steam turbine
HVAC chillers
Cooling towers
Air Compressors
Process waste- neutralization building
Diesel generators
Preforming Preventive, predictive, and/or corrective maintenance activities on equipment.
Preform rounds on equipment and buildings to verify proper operation
Operating and utilizing control system BMS, Delta-V and PLC
Use of electronic work order system, initiate corrective work order to make repairs
Understand drawings and PID
Preforming duties in a safe manner with Zero injuries
High School Diploma or GED and 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience OR
Associates Degree in within the Industrial Technology field of study
Knowledge of basic mathematics
Knowledge of the general trades, that is, construction, electrical, machine shop
Possess skill to understand and execute simple to complex maintenance task for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automated systems
Computer skills, good written and verbal English communication skills
Associates Degree in Engineering Field of study or Bachelor's Degree
Pharmaceutical and/or Bio-Pharmaceutical experience and knowledge of {Current} Good Manufacturing Practices {part of GxP} operations
Course work {or equivalent experience} in the general or specific areas of electro/mechanical technology
Physical / Mental requirements
Position requirements are typical for a manufacturing plant-based work environment with significant shop floor exposure.
Routine lifting, sitting, standing, walking and bending is required.
Working in hot and called weather conditions
Working at heights
Schedule will begin as a M-F, 8 hour day shift (during training and learning curve) but transition to a 12 hour rotating shift including days, nights, and weekends after a determined length of time needed for orientation and training. 36/48 hour weeks rotating. Alternative work schedules may be required to support specific project-related activities.
