What You Will Achieve

The R2R Strategic Support and Governance Senior Associate will will report to the R2R Global Process Lead and will support the end-to-end R2R FP&A process, R2R Digital initiatives, as well as other governance and special projects activities. They will serve as a key team member, providing operational and project support to the R2R Global Process Lead, the R2R Global FP&A Lead, the R2R Digital Enabling and Optimization Director, as well as other key stakeholders across R2R (and other functions, as needed).

How You Will Achieve It
  • Assist with monthly R2R operational reporting and performance analysis, planning to achieve yearly savings targets, completing organizational reviews and updates, and performing ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • Assist with quarterly R2R project spend reporting, including distributing and consolidating budget/forecast collection templates, facilitating conversations between senior leadership and workstream leads, preparing project spend reporting dashboards, and performing ad-hoc analysis as needed
  • Support R2R global strategic initiatives by gathering and arranging regular status updates for existing projects, as well as working with appropriate stakeholders during the standup of new projects to adhere to the new initiative approval process
  • Support R2R sub-tower governance activities, coordination of milestone planning and tracking / escalation across various governance dimensions, projects, and functional teams; includes status reporting, communications, and governance integration
  • Support management with recurring activities related to robotic process automation (RPA) operational governance (i.e., documentation of project activities / audit / budget / communications / issue mitigation, etc.)
  • Assist with ongoing management of the R2R Digital project budget, as well as related coordination with the R2R FP&A Lead
  • Help coordinate the dynamic organizational chart initiative (DOC); review Leadership changes, update Visio org charts, and manage the impacts to FP&A reporting
  • Provide ad-hoc support for strategic Leadership initiatives as needed

Required Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (Accounting or Finance an advantage)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience of accounting or finance in a Corporate Finance, Shared Services or Public Accounting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting Certification ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent
  • Prior experience with project management, FP&A, data analysis, modeling and visualization
  • SAP, Shared Services and Record-to-Report experience

Technical Skills Requirements

  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Office Suite) required, preferably advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to build executive-level presentation that summarize analytical findings into meaningful insights and actionable items
