ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Sr. Manager Solution Engineer to join Pfizer’s Digital Customer Experience Creation Center (C4) responsible for Market Access & Revenue Management (MARM) Digital solutions. These Technology teams manages technology strategy and solution delivery for many teams within Pfizer’s Patient and Health Impact (PHI) organization.

The ideal candidate would be someone with advanced knowledge of visualization tools, ideally Tableau and some knowledge of the Salesforce/Salesforce Health Cloud.

This Solution Engineer role is part technical project manager, part Salesforce administrator, including leading analytical visualizations. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our customer relationship management (CRM) platform. The Solution Engineer position is a hands-on role which will have oversight and manage the data integrations from internal and external sources, into the Patient CRM solution and the sharing of data across the Patient services eco system. The scope of this role includes a wide range of highly transactional platforms and data sources with diverse collection points and complicated collection methods. Delivering data reliability, efficiency, quality, and Data Governance ensuring security and compliance.

In your role leading analytical visualizations, you will be responsible for Leading Polaris Patient Services Platform data visualization, creating analytic solutions, to help Pfizer BUs define required visualizations to support their day to day operations. This activity will require an understanding of the Patient CRM data and inter-data relationships with our 3rd Party Patient Services Operations (Hub) programs and our Patient Insights Analytics Platform.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Demonstrate Strong ability to tell a story with simplistic views for complex datasets
  • Will be an integral part of developing best in class solutions for visualization across the organization
  • Build dashboard and reporting proofs of concept as needed; develop reporting and analysis templates and tools Aid in managing the team’s content on Tableau Server – workbooks, extracts, permissions, coordination
  • Lead the effort of migrating Patient Services CRM proof of concept Tableau dashboards to production
  • Lead Front implementation Polaris Patient Connect Enterprise Reporting and Analytics.
  • Lead internal end-to-end business transformation to enable execution of new strategy in a matrix environment
  • Partner with the Digital Client Partners to align on priorities, process and governance and ensure experimentation to activate innovation and pipeline value

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant experience with emphasis on application support, application development, or systems engineering.
  • Experience supporting applications and solutions in pharmaceutical industry with focus on Patient access and adherence, Specialty pharmacy, Specialty HUB distribution, Market access and Revenue Management
  • 4+ years Application Support leadership experience or Project/Program Management
  • Proven experience and demonstrated skills with one or more of these technologies 1) Salesforce.com (including Visualforce and Apex fundamentals, Web services,SQL, Salesforce Object Query Language) 2) Informatica 3) Snowflake/RedShift 3) Tableau Database & Visualization
  • Hadoop-based technologies (e.g. MapReduce, Hive and Pig)
    SQL-based technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL and MySQL)
    Visualization Tools such as: Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview
  • Good understanding of data compliance processes and controls like SOX, PHI & PII
  • Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
  • Experience managing vendors and contracted resources in both a staff augmentation and outsourcing model.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills, communicate and liaise broadly across functions and the global organization.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ambition to learn and utilize emerging technologies while working in a stimulating team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of systems within Market Access and Revenue Management function.
  • Knowledge of Predictive analytics Machine learning and Web applications.
  • Process-oriented with strong organization, project management and coordination skills.
  • ITIL/PMP certified
  • Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and work assignments, to be open, and motivated to learn and adopt new ideas and concepts.
  • Knowledge of database, storage, hosting, cloud, application, analytics and services technologies.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Expectations around travel will be minimal but candidates must be capable of travel within the region, to other regions, and to other Pfizer sites.
  • Pfizer Digital is a 7x24x365 endeavor. This role may require physical or virtual participation on a weekend, holiday, or after normal business hours
