Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Associate to join our Immuno-oncology team within the Immune & Inflammatory Disease Department at Regeneron. Our team is developing novel therapeutic modalities to activate the immune system and eradicate tumor cells. You will be responsible for designing and carrying out a variety of in vitro and in vivo experiments leading to cancer immunology target validation and development of therapeutic antibodies. 

As an R&D Associate, a typical day may include the following:

-  Perform tumor implantations and measure tumors to validate targets and evaluate lead molecules in different mouse tumor models

-  Perform injections through various routes (IP, IV, Sub-Q)

-  Bleed mice and isolate mouse tissues

-  Isolate immune cells from mouse and human tissues for further functional and phenotypic characterization

-  Perform ex-vivo immunophenotyping using multicolor flow cytometer and analyze flow cytometry data

-  Execute and analyze molecular biology assays such as ELISA/MSD, immunoblotting, RT-PCR etc.

-  Maintain and culture cells as necessary

-  Develop new methods or technologies, troubleshoot experiments

-  Write protocols and study reports, produce and maintain accurate electronic records

-  Analyze data using FlowJo, Microsoft Excel and GraphPad Prism

-  Communicate findings to peers and management

To be considered for this opportunity you must have a BS or MS degree in Cell biology, Molecular biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or related fields as well as experience working in an immunology or cancer biology laboratory. Experience conducting experiments using mouse models with training in proper handling and care of mice is preferred. A general knowledge of immunology and immune-oncology field a well experience in tissue culture and cell-based assays and flow cytometry is a plus.
