What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing an Omnichannel Content Management and Digital Asset Management ecosystem (CMS/DAM from hereon).

The successful candidate will provide leadership for the successful delivery of CMS/DAM in partnership with other global product teams and will be responsible for developing and managing the technology roadmap for various CMS/DAM related capabilities.

As a Senior Manager Information Systems Manager you will:

• Understand how business requirements, information and systems are translated into solution Architecture and Design.

• Define architecture and technical road maps for the CMS/DAM ecosystem.

• Lead the technical design, development, testing & implementation of global CMS/DAM capabilities.

• Oversee creation of best-in-class product engineering, automation, and DevOps capabilities to ensure continuous, fast and quality product launches.

• Continuously advance customer experience with keen eye on maximizing ROI of the CMS/DAM technology landscape

• Accountability for identifying and mitigating architectural risks.

• Ensure adherence of Architecture, Design and implementation with local data privacy regulation and security policies.

• Stay on top of innovative technology solutions and talent; planning for future state to maintain competitive advantage.

• Excellent people skills across remote/onshore/off-shore locations.

• Evaluate technical solutions and ensure alignment with Amgens Enterprise Architecture standards (Amgen City Planning).

• Prepare and maintain communication materials like roadmaps, position papers, presentations, demos, playbooks and discuss the materials with business clients and partner DTI teams.

• Analyze and measure the effectiveness of technologies and tools related to CMS/DAM and provide input to develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Masters degree and 4 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Bachelors degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience

OR

Associates degree and 10 years of Information Systems experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven ability working in software product management/development

• Prior experience in building content management and digital asset management solutions.

• Ability to think strategically about technology and recommend solutions that align with business strategy and achieve the greatest business impact.

• Test automation and Dev Ops experience

• Excellent verbal communication skills, interpersonal and decision making skills

• Exposure to complete product development life cycle from requirements to integration and testing

• Experience delivering technology solutions and capabilities in a regulated environment, preferably in medical/pharmaceutical.

• Deep understanding of Agile and Lean Startup principles

• Successful working with contract software development companies.
