What you will do

In this vital role you will be part of Global Customer identity management product team and partnering with business teams to deliver on key Customer 360 initiatives, core transformation projects, and Agile ceremonies. You will be working with multiple teams across the IS commercial ecosystem to improve technology and pivotal initiatives that are key to Amgens future performance. In this role you will drive improvement opportunities, implementation, and realization of world-class commercial Platforms and Product Teams.
Drive and advance Global Customer Identity management and Customer experience capabilities that align with our Business and IS Strategy.
Lead the architecture, design, development, testing, implementation and management of Customer Identity & Access management solutions on Identity & Access Management Product/Platform. Align new and existing applications and systems to IAM/RBAC framework.
Provide technical and governance oversight on the Customer Identity Management projects. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the analysis, design, and implementation of all Customer Identity Management projects, estimate timelines and be responsible for their successful delivery while meeting the overall security and integrity of the solution.
Work closely with Global Information Protection team on operational and performance statistics for managed systems to ensure reliability and availability, perform preventative maintenance, and automate routine procedures.
Maintain production change control schedule and participate in change control processes.
Troubleshoot problems and respond to escalations, and perform repairs as needed.
Conduct routine audits of applications to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
Create and maintain documentation such as requirement/design documents, operational drawings, standard operating procedures, manuals, etc.
Be the technical liaison and the escalation point between different team.
Independently handle client projects without management oversight.
Improve solution approach based on Agile standards and global standard methodologies
Collaborate closely with multiple levels of leadership as well as peers to build alignment and advance initiatives
Work closely with the Business teams and staff to ensure consistency when delivering capabilities and outcomes

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree OR
Masters degree & 3 years of Information Systems experience OR
Bachelors degree & 5 years of Information Systems experience OR
Associates degree & 10 years of Information Systems experience OR
High school diploma/GED & 12 years of Information Systems experience
Must have strong work experience in full stack web development
Must have work experience ReactJS, NodeJS + Express, and meta-data based forms.
Work experience in AWS Services (API Gateway, Lamba, DynamoDB, WAF, etc).
Must have understanding and work experience in OWASP, Header-based SSO, SAML and OIDC/OAuth integrations.
Must have through understanding and work experience in web technologies REST and SOAP, and tools cURL and Postman.
Must have a strong understanding and work experience with JSON.
Solid understanding of Application Servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat, JBoss), Databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL) and LDAP (e.g. OpenDJ, OpenLDAP) will be a plus.
Must have excellent skills with troubleshooting issues.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with software development/testing and ticketing tools will be a plus.
Problem-solving capabilities and ability to use constraints as opportunities.
Working understanding and experience of Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup principles.
Expertise in translating business requirements to technical requirements and recommend solutions.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate/lead multiple projects/activities with competing priorities.
