Job Title:

           GLP Archivist 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) with 1+ years’ experience in a GLP facility

Associate degree in a scientific discipline (i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) with 3+ years’ experience in a GLP facility

High school diploma and minimum of 5 years administrative or related experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of GLP regulations

Previous experience in archives, quality assurance and/or standard operating procedure maintenance 

Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management and Study Personnel

 

 

Corporate Responsibilities:

  • Adherence to applicable company policies and guidelines
  • Adherence to federal and/or local regulations, as applicable

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage archiving activities for GLP study related documentation
  • Assure departmental reports and any other supporting documentation or required records are appropriately processed and archived
  • Manage short term archiving area in the facility and perform maintenance of archived study files in all formats
  • Manage the coordination of submission of inventory from different departments to archives
  • Coordinate long term archiving with the external archiving facility
  • Assist with inventory, maintenance, and retrieval of study data materials from long-term or short-term archives 
  • Write and review SOPs and policies/procedures for Archiving activities
  • Enter orders into Inotiv database
  • Perform cancellations, pricing modifications, purchase order changes, address changes and other necessary modifications per client, account management, project management or accounts receivable request
  • Generate and monitor specific company database reports to ensure revenue and invoicing are captured correctly
  • Process and distribute reports and protocols
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
