We are looking for the Senior Manager, IT Program Management (Information & Analytics Governance), who will have responsibility for the governance, execution, and delivery of the I&AG Programs, reporting to the Director, IT Portfolio Management, PMO COE. Your relationship building and business communication strengths will prove invaluable. We work directly with Business Process Owners, Business Relationship Managers, Project Managers, and key Stakeholders across Regeneron IT to ensure that our assets, resources, and processes enable the delivery of business value through IT project efforts. You will be responsible for partner satisfaction as it relates to processes, procedures, communication, governance rhythms, financial competence, subject matter expertise and providing fit-for-purpose solutions. This role will ensure consistency, structure, rigor, and routine to the management of the I&AG Programs. You should expect to be heavily involved in monitoring status, anticipating challenges, unblocking issues, communicating cross portfolio issues, resource planning, demand management and prioritization reviews. You will work directly with the Executive Director, I&AG on business unit priorities and act as a catalyst for IT PMO excellence.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Monitor and assess IT program health, communicate status, risks, & issues to IT leaders, business partners and PMO Management peers in a direct and timely manner.
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasts, monthly accruals, and provide financial reporting.
  • Organize and lead quarterly business reviews with your internal business partners.
  • Attend project specific status meetings, monitor progress, proactively coach, and support the dynamic needs of your project teams.
  • Seek out and stay close to key issues of the day with Executive Director, I&AG.
  • Partner with I&AG leaders to ensure our legal, financial, and sourcing priorities are balanced.
  • Lead 1-on-1 meetings with project managers and other key personnel.
  • Support development of IT roadmaps in partnership with I&AG BRMs.
  • Identify resourcing needs, lead screening, selection and onboarding activities.
  • Thoughtfully contribute to the PMO center of excellence cohort.
  • Foster BRM relationships and consistently review demand management pipelines.
  • Develop and grow cross-department IT relationships (Engineering, InfoSec, QA, etc.)
  • Champion Regeneron PMO processes, and execution methodologies (waterfall, agile, and others).
  • Drive user adoption and sustainment through change management, training, and partner engagement.
  • Train, coach, and lead IT teams by example on processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with partners and vendors to develop detailed solutions and discuss and solve issues, questions, and improvements.
  • Analyze complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Translate analysis into solutions grounded in business value and stated in business terms.
  • Cultivate relationships with vendor partners.

To be considered for the Senior Manager, IT Program Management I&AG role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 8 years of progressive experience in IT project, program and portfolio management; 5+years running major programs or portfolios; 5+ years resource management experience; Domain Expertise in Project Management Office, Project, Program and Portfolio processes, SDLC processes (waterfall and agile) and governance practices. Experience in pharmaceutical industry, specifically IT. PMP or Prince2 certification and commercial pharmaceutical industry preferred. Experience with a wide suite of PPM tools such as: Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Changepoint, Planview, ServiceNow PPM or Smartsheet. Must have hands-on PM experience with enterprise-wide software implementations.
