ROLE SUMMARY

  • Responsible for supporting the RSV launch in Emerging Markets.
  • Accountable for the development and execution of the EM marketing/business initiatives /platforms in partnership with global team/functions, RTALs and country marketers applying the Glocal operating model.
  • Works across regions to implement plans and tactics with appropriate tailoring to meet EM specific needs using a combination of environmental analyses, HCP and patient insights and in-depth understanding of payers and policies impacting the categories.
  • Shared accountability to deliver on launch planning and revenue projection across EM.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accountable for the development, update, and execution of detailed/actionable plans in Emerging Markets, that incorporate market development efforts.
  • Oversee development and implementation of plans across priority EM markets. Monitor and ensure activation, execution of key milestones and needed updates to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develop and evolve product strategies to maximize commercial success and profitability, providing guidance to markets for accurate product forecasting, positioning, product life cycle strategy, competitor and landscape evaluation, scenario planning and managing internal/external collaborations
  • Identify strategic customer insights through collaboration with medical, market analytics, in-country teams and external stakeholders and translate into actionable strategies
  • Partner with Cross-Functional team including RTALs, CBLs, Medical, PHI, CD, legal, public affairs and communications to align and advance business objectives.
  • Drives innovation and Bold Moves specifically ensuring affordability and access plans, leveraging digital technologies to enable and enhance innovative go-to-market models
  • Represents EM in Glocal Team/workstreams with requisite customer insights and needs
  • Leads development of the product vision for EM in collaboration with RTALs and cross-functional partners
  • Proactively and cost-effectively streamlines promotional efforts leveraging Glocal model and EM scale; seeks opportunities to more effectively execute marketing activities to free CBLs time to focus on customer-facing activities
  • Develops detailed implementation plans to prepare for execution and tailors as appropriate for relevant market(s); aligns with other Global Groups and developed markets to leverage best practices
  • Proactively recommend Buy-Up opportunities to boost growth and accelerate uptake.
  • Develop and execute plans to ensure up-to-date and best in class category knowledge, for marketers and commercial customer facing roles (FF, KAMs, etc)
  • Establishes cross-functional teams where needed for implementation plans and interface with regional and country stakeholders through effective matrix management
  • Proactively works with country marketers and Country Category Leads to implement plans and evaluate impact, proactively addresses issues impacting the plans implementation
  • Plans/forecasts, spends, and tracks initiative budgets


QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree required, MBA is preferred
  • 10+ years of professional experience in commercial or analytical roles
  • 5 years+ of marketing / commercial experience
