Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will develop the strategy and framework and be a product line manager to help with enablement, adoption and alignment with Amgens technical products and platforms. This role will direct a team of engineers and analysts to work as part of the field sales CRM team to develop products in Veeva CRM, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud (both theoretical and concrete implementations) and provide technical expertise to business analysts, salesforce developers, and product owners to design and architect the field sales CRM and alignment tools. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer engagement technologies, including sales, web, mobile, social, and marketing campaign solutions. We are looking for a strong technical thought leader who can build immediate credibility with the senior management team and the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate Amgen leadership behaviors and for additional behaviors critical to success in a global, matrixed organization
  • Serve as a role model for the application of both leadership and technical skill develops and coaches the team toward the embodiment of a similar combination of skills
  • Work with cross functional business leaders to build roadmap and vision for improving customer engagement metrics
  • Lead the technical team to build and maintain a catalog of all field sales crm related platforms and data we have across brands (including use cases)
  • Drive customer engagement forward as a partner between IS, brand, hcp engagement, marketers, and privacy/legal/regulatory to improve the hcp experience with our brands and sales organization
  • Support the development of connected data, both real-time and batch, between Amgen's CRM solution, Master Data Management, the Consent Management system, and all websites, mobile apps, support services (copay, call center, nurse programs, etc.), and fulfillment vendors
  • Complete our marketing strategies using knowledge of consumer technology trends and social media in a highly regulated industry
  • Ensure compliance through coordination with legal and compliance teams for any patient services program, future enhancements of patient services and/or new service providers.
  • Integrate Mobile applications with other Consumer Engagement Platforms (Web, Marketing Automation, etc.)
  • Assess and lead cross-brand opportunities for the platform aligned with business priorities and local resources
  • Develop back-end services and APIs for web and mobile apps.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of information systems experience

Or

Masters degree and 6 years of information systems experience

Or

Bachelors degree and 8 years of information systems experience

Or

Associates degree and 10 years of information systems experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of information systems experience

And

2 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Collaboration and cross functional leadership skills across the enterprise organization. Experience working with product management and agile development teams responsible for the delivery of superlative digital product experiences in a dynamic environment with demanding cost, timing, and customer considerations
  • Ability to execute a strategy and launch solutions for patient support programs.
  • Collaboratively work across multiple partners (market access, sales, marketing, data and analytics, and brand marketing), and influence to gain consensus on solutions.
  • Understanding of patent journey concept and time to treatment.
  • Excellent communication skills to work across and up through the organization, including escalation and mitigation of issues, risks, and business impacts.
  • Working understanding and experience of Agile, Scrum, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup principles.
  • Experience with AWS, Salesforce, and other enterprise grade applications.
  • Experience with Tableau or other reporting and analytics tools.
