Manager, Project Management - Temporary

The Manager, Project Management provides support for projects as directed by the Lead Project Management staff. The Manager, Project Management may also manage independently small to medium projects with oversight by more seasoned Project Managers.

A typical day may include the following:

• Collaborates with cross functional team members and Lead Project Manager to generate Project Charters defining business case, project scope, goals, objectives, and deliverables

• Gathers project requirements with Lead Project Manager, Project Team members, Sponsors and Partners

• Manages PM tools (agendas, schedules, budget, interdependencies, RAID logs, etc.)

• Prepares progress reporting/ dashboards to highlight status, risks, issues and escalations

• Supports the creation of PM plans, tools and templates

• Supports Change Management by analyzing people, process impacts and liaises with Change Manager to support deliverables

• Is responsible for project resource capacity to ensure right capacity to support project; highlighting risks to project manager as necessary

• Ensures appropriate input is gathered to support decision making and progression to next achievement

• Sets up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately detailed and secured

• Conducts post-implementation project reviews in order to incorporate lessons learned for future projects

• Coordinate work effort across cross functional teams, contractors and vendors

• Supports the business in the analyses of current and future state processes à supports the actual mapping of end to end business practice/ processes real-time in visio (currently a huge gap and lift for the PM)

• Support Vendor oversight work – run rates, issues/ risk, etc.

• Lead and facilitate project meetings as requested

• Perform Lead Project Manager role for small to medium complexity projects as assigned

• CAPM a plus

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have at minimum a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience.
