Senior Manager Corporate Communications

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications who will support external enterprise-level communications with the goal of shaping and extending positive corporate reputation. This role will contribute and provide leadership across a broad swath of communications responsibilities (including media relations, social and digital storytelling, corporate responsibility and the Regeneron Genetics Center), with the potential to specialize in an area of interest in the future. The person will work with the Senior Director of Corporate Communications and the head of Communications and Marketing for the Regeneron Genetics Center as part of a leading team that moves thoughtfully and efficiently in order to educate key external and internal partners about Regeneron’s mission, business performance and scientific focus.

• Act as project lead for critical communications efforts across media, social media and digital properties and corporate materials; ensure content and messaging supports overarching corporate story and business goals
• Assist with media outreach around scientific and business achievements; includes the development of critical messaging, press releases, pitches, media lists and interview coordination; work directly and own relationships with local media
• Support communications and educational efforts specifically around early-stage technology and research initiatives, such as the Regeneron Genetics Center
• Craft and deploy innovative communications strategies for major ESG, DEI and social impact programs, such as Regeneron STS and ISEF
• Elevate executive and corporate visibility through the identification, submission and promotion of awards and speaking opportunities; work closely with rising company leaders
• Collaborate on efforts to evolve social media channels and corporate websites; build creative and engaging content and craft effective targeting strategies
• Work collaborative across CC&C and other internal partners to maintain efficiency and ensure consistency of messaging; lead external agencies and vendors to ensure excellence in delivery

• Ability to manage and successfully complete the editing, review and approval processes
• Ability to generate creative, engaging content with a thoughtful approach for different audiences
• Proficiency in translating science into meaningful messages for external audiences
• Deep understanding of regulatory, commercial and legal landscape governing the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry
• Proven ability to implement innovative social media and digital strategies to support communications goals; strong knowledge of the healthcare digital landscape
• Ability to work independently with urgency and a results-oriented mentality
• Ability to proactively address highly complex problems and recommend creative solutions to the team
• Strong organizational, prioritization, process and project management skills
• High level of professionalism and confidence to work effectively with employees from all levels of the organization, including senior leaders, functional managers, research scientists and the general employee population
• Proven success working in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and multi-tasking

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7-10 years relevant experience in corporate communications at biotechnology/ pharmaceutical companies or supporting agencies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
