The PLA Performance Management Manager is primarily responsible for the extraction, linking and delivery of Learning & Development related data in support of key PLA projects. This role is responsible for understanding the complexity and variability of data types and data sources, data architecture and data integration platforms & services to facilitate exploitation of the necessary data to conduct analyses. The person will work closely with the PLA team in order to effectively and accurately fulfill data requests in support of a PLA analytics needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partners closely with PLA teams to understand data requirements, existing technical environment, internally available data integration solutions and technologies, and externally available solutions for various PLA strategic projects.

  • Gathers data via multiple sources including archival data from data warehouses, external data platforms and other tools in order to supply the PLA team with broad data sets for analysis purposes.

  • Supports PLA team in the initial stages of analytics project execution by performing all data preparation, data review and exploratory data analysis steps

  • Responsible for design and delivery of advance visualization techniques for converting data into captivating, elegant visual representations to help PLA make better, data-driven decisions.

  • Assists the PLA team in the metrics and dashboard development, interpretation of data, and overall story telling to quantify & present the impact of PLA learning activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial & Organizational Psychology, or other social science discipline with extensive quantitative and qualitative coursework required.

  • 5+ years of role specific experience

  • Experience in advance visualization a must. (Tableau, R Shiny preferred)

  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information

  • In depth knowledge and familiarity with Excel specifically in using filtering, pivot tables, v-lookups and other advanced functions, SQL and data visualization tools

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Prior experience with building and/or coding business rules/logic in the process of extracting, formatting, transforming, normalizing, cleaning, and loading data and records preferred

  • Highly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow-through required

  • Results-oriented -- ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work; Responds with flexibility to shifting priorities and rapid change
