What You Will Achieve

Your finance and economics skills will help in analyzing the risk inherent to Pfizer's extension of credit terms across its customer base. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, execution and communication of credit risk strategies across your assigned region. You will act as the first point of contact and risk management advisor for market/regional Finance and Commercial personnel. You will act as an SME in Credit Risk policy, financial statement analysis, and risk mitigation strategy. You will provide support and guidance to Credit Risk Analysts, and review their work to take confident responsibility for the assigned region’s risk assessments. Additionally, you will provide support to Credit Risk management in the execution of departmental and regional initiatives.

As an Regional Lead Analyst, you will also contribute in achieving project tasks and goals, along with your day to day oversight responsibilities for your region. Through your knowledge and commitment, you will create a collaborative teaming environment for your colleagues.

How You Will Achieve It

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for the planning, coordination, execution and communication of credit risk strategies across an assigned region

  • Acts as the first point of contact and risk management advisor for market/regional Finance and Commercial personnel

  • Interact with customers to gain insight into financial performance and ensure accurate record keeping after all engagement

  • SME in Credit Risk policy, financial statement analysis, and risk mitigation strategy

  • Quickly learn new markets and adapt credit risk strategy in order to maximize sales and minimize trade credit risk

  • Provides support and guidance to Credit Risk Analysts, and review their work to take confident responsibility for the assigned region’s risk assessment

  • Make and approve decisions relating to order release and credit limits changes

  • Actively participate in team discussions and provide open feedback to peers/management while working in a remote arrangement

  • Manage time effectively and communicate to peers and management with regards to work tasks, status and deadlines

  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement activities

  • Support Credit Risk Team Leads in coaching junior colleagues in day-to-day operational activities where required

  • Provide support to Credit Risk management in the execution of departmental and regional initiatives

  • Participate in GBS Order-to-Cash global initiatives including transformational projects as needed, as a subject matter expert for the area

  • Ensure strong commitment to the control environment through training and review to meet all control and compliance requirements

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting

  • 2 years experience in finance, economics, or a related discipline

  • Demonstrated ability to in handling multiple concurrent projects and aptitude in problem solving

  • Proven ability to maintain professionalism and possesses the ability to interface with all levels of organization

  • Experience in financial statement analytics and trade credit risk mitigation

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Nice-to-Have

  • Masters degree in Finance or Economics

  • Enterprise Resource Planning {e.g. SAP} system experience

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
