JOIN US!

Adicet Bio, Inc is a clinical stage biotechnology company discovering and developing allogeneic gamma delta T cell therapies for cancer. We are advancing a pipeline of “off-the-shelf” gamma delta T cells, engineered with chimeric antigen receptors (CAR) and T cell receptor-like antibodies (TCRL), to enhance selective tumor targeting, facilitate innate and adaptive anti-tumor immune response, and improve persistence for durable activity in patients. Our approach to activate, engineer and manufacture allogeneic gamma delta T cell product candidates derived from the peripheral blood cells of unrelated donors allows us to generate new product candidates in a rapid and cost-efficient manner. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with multiple functional groups in the efforts to progress immune cell-based cancer therapies to the clinic.
  • Design, conduct, and manage in vivo and ex vivo experiments to evaluate Adicet’s immune cell platforms, such as anti-tumor efficacy, in vivo phenotyping, cell trafficking, distribution and persistence in animal models.
  • Support biomarker discovery and translational studies for Adicet’s clinical candidates through in vivo modeling.
  • Perform hands-on work when needed, including animal model handling, in vivo data collection and ex vivo analyses of blood and organ/tumor tissues.
  • Manage and analyze experimental data, interpret results and prepare presentations for internal and external meetings, regulatory filings and publications.
  • Provide scientific inputs and contribute intellectually to the organization success.
  • Manage and direct daily work of junior research staff.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and data to comply with internal quality criteria.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Immunology or relevant biological sciences with an immuno-oncology research background.
  • A minimal two years of postdoctoral research experience, preferably in an industry setting.
  • Previous hands-on experience in murine tumor models including xenograft and/or syngeneic models is required.
  • Must demonstrate experience in establishing, executing and interpreting in vivo experiments in oncology research and technical excellence in murine tumor models.
  • Experience in ensuring quality studies and accurate analysis of in vivo data is required.
  • Previous hands-on experience in multi-color flow cytometry and independently analyzing the data using analytical software such as FlowJo is required.
  • Previous hands-on experience in in vivo bioluminescence and/or fluorescence imaging workflow and data analysis is preferred.
  • Experience in working knowledge of immunohistochemistry and data interpretation is a plus.
  • Demonstrate scientific creativity, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills, with a strong track record of research productivity as evidenced by high-quality publications.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently under minimal supervision in a dynamic team environment.

Company

Adicet Bio, Inc. is a privately held, pre-clinical stage biotechnology company developing novel universal immune cell therapies based on gamma delta T cells engineered with Chimeric Antigen Receptors.  Adicet is also focused on identifying and validating cancer specific targets directed to the intracellular proteome and then generating T Cell Receptor-like monoclonal antibodies (TCRLs) directed to these cancer-specific peptide targets presented by MHC Class I complexes. These TCRLs are being used to arm T cells or as T cell engagers in solid tumors. In August 2016, Adicet entered into a strategic collaboration with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. to develop next-generation engineered immune-cell therapeutics using Adicet's gamma delta T cell allogeneic platform technology.
