Job Details

As an Associate Director, Field Medical Affairs, you will play a pivotal role as with scientific and therapeutic area expertise across our Immuno-Oncology therapies and pipelines. You will deliver strategic and operational support by establishing, developing, maintaining scientific exchange with medical specialists, health care professionals. We provide clinical and health economic information that enhances the value and appropriate use of Regeneron products, participation in the identification of potential clinical research sites and investigators.
 
Primary responsibilities of this role are to ensure compliant exchange and scientific exchange relevant to Regeneron in-line and pipeline products in a timely, ethical and client-focused manner.
 
A typical day may include: 

Demonstrating deep scientific expertise about our Immuno-Oncology molecules/products to exchange information and insights with specialists within a region

Demonstrating proficiency in topics beyond scientific exchange such as value / cost of care, including discussions regarding prevention of hospitalizations or intervention, risk of progression or events, and AE management

Building and cultivating working relationships across field partners to ensure an integrated approach when working with HCP’s or specialists.

Shapes and carries out individual territory, based on Global Medical Affairs strategy within planned timelines

Employs clinical and value-based expertise to develop and share clinical and scientific communications with internal and external partners including publications, conference data, and educational materials

Sustains expertise in product/ molecule data, disease state management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape

Responds to HCP inquiries with integrity, compliance, and adherence to legal, regulatory, and Regeneron guidelines, policies & procedures, to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information.

Supports clinical research activities throughout the life cycle (phase 1-4), mainly focusing on identification of pre-clinical, clinical and post-marketing study investigators/ specialists and sites.

To be considered for this an advanced Clinical/Science Degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD) is required along with a minimum of 5 years related work experience (clinical, managed care, or industry experience). Oncology experience is required. Experience as a field medical representative is preferred

Ability to communicate and disseminate scientific and clinical data in response to unsolicited requests for information as appropriate per medical field policy, using oral presentations, written communications, scientific literature or other approved materials and tools
