Regeneron's Preclinical Manufacturing & Process Development Group (PMPD) is seeking a Process Development Associate II as a temporary position to work in the Purification Development group.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting purification process development of commercially enabling antibody programs. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, efficient, flexible, and able to perform key responsibilities in a fast-paced, team environment.

A Typical Day in the Role Might Look Like:
  • Perform purification of antibody, or antibody-like, proteins to support development of commercially enabling processes. Focus will be on pilot-scale purification operations.
  • Documents experiments, results, and findings in electronic laboratory notebook; presents work at and attends group and department meetings.
  • Maintain instruments and troubleshoots instrumental/experimental problems

This Role Might Be For You If You:
  • Contribute to lab equipment maintenance and safety to help create a safe, effective and efficient working environment.
  • Anticipate and recognize potential problems with laboratory supplies / equipment and act to prevent and take on problems.
  • Keep up with SOP training and/or compliance responsibilities.

The role requires A Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in either Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or Biochemistry, and 0 - 5+ years’ experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. A strong fundamental understanding of various protein purification techniques is a plus. Experience with Downstream Development and with equipment like: Akta Avant, Akta Pilot, Akta Process Skid, Disc Stack Centrifuge, Depth filtration, Tangential flow filters, Normal flow filters, Chromatographic columns, HPLC, UPLC, Ultrafiltration/Diafiltration skid, Laminar Flow Hood, Chemical Fume hood, Empower, Unicorn, JMP, LIMS, PI Historian a plus.
