Position 

Eikon is looking for an experienced HR professional to join our HR Operations team.  As a member of this diverse and dynamic team, you will play a key role in two key areas 1) driving HR compliance, data accuracy, reporting analytics and 2) supporting components of our benefits programs including but not limited to wellness activities, 401(k), and worker’s compensation.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and ensure timely compliance with federal and state specific regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., EEO-1, ACA, etc.)
  • Support development and roll-out of HR Wellness initiatives
  • Support 401(k) program administration
  • Manage employee enrollment and metrics reporting for HR compliance training
  • Manage applicable activities related to worker’s compensation claims
  • Coordination and updating of compliance related communications including onsite Labor Law Notices, E-Verify postings, etc. Ensure all notices are up to date and appropriately posted
  • Manage/coordinate administrative aspects of immigration cases
  • Act as back-up for all new hire Onboarding preparation including pre-start communications with new hires and cross-functional teams (HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Facilities, etc.). Tasks include I-9 verifications, new hire orientation and data entry to HR systems
  • Acts as a back-up for timely administration of payroll processing

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • In-depth knowledge of California and federal employment law and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to manage highly confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to easily adapt to various competing demands
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, follow through, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Ability to develop strong partnering relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Biotech or high-tech industry experience preferred
