BOSULIF, SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER – JOB DESCRIPTION

BOSULIF was approved in the U.S. in 2012 to treat adult patients with CP, PH+ Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). It continues to deliver double digit growth year-over-year and is expected to achieve revenues exceeding ~$500M in 2022. BOSULIF received full FDA indication in front-line Therapy in May 2021, which will be an important market driver and brand differentiation in early line CML treatment. BOSULIF is a 2nd generation Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI) and operates in highly competitive and promotionally sensitive market. The Senior Marketing Manager will report to the U.S. Team Lead - Leukemia Portfolio Marketing and is responsible for managing a commercial budget of $5M to achieve revenues exceeding ~$500M

The Senior Marketing Manager role on the US Hematology/BOSULIF Marketing Team will help drive the growth of BOSULIF with the recent roll out and forthcoming evolution of the 1L promotional campaign highlighting 1L indication 5-year data and the use of Bosulif in earlier lines. This role will be responsible for the development and advancement of key brand strategies and tactics focusing on Field Force engagement and support, Peer to Peer initiatives including KOL\HCP engagement, Advisory Boards and Hematology conferences to propel new patient starts and improved adherence for continuing patients. Responsibilities will also focus on driving enhanced customer experience through Omni-channel Marketing planning and execution, as well as maximizing the Patient Platform for Bosulif. Overall, the Senior Marketing Manager will be accountable for engagement and execution across various project and initiatives to promote market growth for Bosulif. This role requires strategic and analytical thinking, strong project management experience, creativity and decision-making skills – as well as a proven track record of success in working in a cross-functional team-based environment, with multiple stakeholders.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the development of commercial strategies and tactical execution to drive growth and market penetration of BOSULIF in the well-established CML market.
  • Co-lead and co-develop (partnering with brand Director) the evolution of annual Strategic and Tactical brand plans to drive continued demand and growth for Bosulif.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to expand promotion of new campaign and resources (5-year data and updated label) supporting 1L indication and increasing Bosulif utilization in earlier lines of therapy
  • Lead the development and roll-out of HCP & Patient promotional resources to be executed by the Field Force that will maximize customer engagement, broaden non-personal promotion, and drive Patient trial and savings for Bosulif.
  • Manage inventory of promotional resources – maintaining appropriate quantities and initiating production when low.
  • Evaluate and evolve priority Patient tactics including website, Patient app and other digital assets; manage co-pay card program.
  • Develop and lead the targeted Hematology - CML congress strategy (i.e., ASH, SOHO, ASCO, etc.), including both pre- and post- conference engagements
  • Lead the development \ execution of Omni-Channel strategy & tactics including partnering with internal digital teams, agencies and brand stakeholders to identify and execute initiatives that compliment Field Force promotional efforts, elevate BOSULIF value proposition, and ultimately drive quality, customer-centric engagement and experience.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams (Medical, Marketing, Opinion Leader Liaisons, Regulatory, Legal, NAD, CEP and Engage team, etc.) to support the development and execution of Peer to Peer and Customer Engagement initiatives including HCP Ad Boards and GPO (Speaker) Programs with target Organized Customers and/or Large Group Practices
  • Lead Field Force advisory boards to gather customer and market insights to help inform ongoing marketing strategies and resource development.
  • Work with Sales Leadership and Sales Training to identify training needs and build/implement plans to address identified gaps
  • Support planning and execution of National Sales meetings to maximize engagement with the OAS/OIS team, including communication of core marketing strategies and tactic
  • Measure and analyze the impact of marketing initiatives on an ongoing basis generating early learnings and implementing continuous improvement to achieve revenue targets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing required
  • • Previous in-line marketing experience preferred
  • Track record of synthesizing complex information and distilling critical customer insights
  • Ability to translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable level to drive brand performance
  • Demonstrated success in developing, driving, executing, and measuring the impact of complex marketing programs
  • Strong project management skills, including ability to work independently, lead multiple projects simultaneously and manage against a work plan
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate with experts from a wide range of cross-functional areas
  • Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management
