Associate Manufacturing Process Technician

What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital role the Associate Manufacturing Process Technician will perform processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the Inspection and Packaging area in a non-standard shift operation that may include 24/7, extended shift and weekends.


Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Safely follow standard operating procedures including but not limited to material handling, record keeping, inspection and packaging.
  • Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Manual Inspection Activities
  • Set up and prepare equipment for operation.
  • Document activities following Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Work with computer systems and electronic batch records.
  • Completes routine detailed tasks and assignments following Amgen's procedures.
  • May act as safety representative.

Basic Qualifications:

Associate degree

OR

High school diploma and 2 years of manufacturing experience

Beyond that, the additional preferred qualifications are:

  • Educational Background in Natural Sciences, Automation, Engineering, Business Administration
  • Experience working in a GMP or another regulated environment
  • Experience working in Inspection and Packaging
  • Ability to perform basic computer operations, such as ability to navigate in MS Office, use email, and complete training using Computer Based Training (CBT)
  • Ability to assemble, disassembles, operate and understand equipment per procedures
  • Proficient communication (written and oral) and documentation skills in English and Spanish.
