Technical Lead, Strategic Markets

TA Instruments Product Solutions and Strategic marketing is comprised of highly skilled, motivated and customer focused professionals that are technical experts on TA's business and product lines. As an Applications Engineer you'll join a cross functional team that is committed to ensuring TA's long-term profitable growth and creation of new innovative products. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with multiple disciplines including; Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering while engaging our customers to define their needs. 

Responsibilities

• Define and develop application roadmap for key strategic markets
• Become technical expert in key (prioritized) end-market and develop program to cascade knowledge across organization
• Create application notes that align with the marketing plan with support from organization
• Produce and support additional marketing collateral creation including salesdecks, webinars, seminars, briefs, etc...
• Lead KoL recruitment and own relationship for application specific partnerships
• Identify key unmet needs and work with product solutions team to prioritize opportunity

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science, or related field
  • Masters or Ph.D. preferred. 

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years' relevant industrial experience.
• Has a keen knowledge-base of the science of Thermal Analysis and/or Rheology.
  • Knowledge of Thermophysical Properties is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel by both air and ground carrier.
