Lonza Tampa is hiring for a Head of Supply Chain and Program Management. The incumbent is responsible for managing professionals to effectively execute and deliver customer projects. This role heavily interfaces between Sales and Operations to deliver and execute customer contracts from  initiation through completion .  Responsible for setting direction for the project team, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company commitments and goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of overall customer project execution for existing local business portfolio including planning alignment (from demand to execution), robust sourcing information and customer interactions

  • Medium and short term planning processes to ensure fully integrated asset capacity planning, labor planning and material planning

  • Providing forecasting scenarios integrating demand with operation network capacity over a rolling time horizon

  • Chairing monthly S&OP meeting

  • Management of the Supply Chain and Program Management department including optimal resource allocation, hiring, gap analysis and talent development

  • Represent local SCPM department in site leadership team

  • Driving harmonization and standardization across multiple sites and technologies with regards of both PM and Supply Chain

  • Driving customer centricity and customer focus

  • Overseeing Inventory management and material Flows1

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Masters Degree in Life Science or Chemistry

  • CPIM and / or PMP certfication prefered but not required

  • Significant work experience within CDMO/ Pharmaceutical environment or related field..

  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and manage not only project teams in a matrix environment but also direct people management in a traditional hierarchical organizational structure.

  • Ability to build strong, lasting relationships with clients based on trust and delivery.

  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders

  • In-depth understanding of Lonza’s technology and the industry/customers/accounts.
