Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will join our industry-leading Regulatory Information Management (RIM) product team. We are a team of system and domain experts and you will be an active participant in all phases of the product life cycle including systems analysis and articulating system solutions and approaches for addressing business needs within the Regulatory Information Management (RIM) product teams Veeva Vaults and its ecosystem.

  • Play a key role on the RIM product team responsible for consulting with business partners to elicit and define requirements, technically configuring / developing capabilities related to Veeva Vault RIM or Veeva Vault PromoMats
  • Support deployment of Veeva Vault capabilities and provide technical hands-on expertise to the Amgen team as we complete multi-year product roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications

Masters degree

Or

Bachelors degree and 2 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis experience

Or

Associates degree and 6 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems and Business Analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • A deep understanding of the Veeva Vault and regulatory submission management or promotional material management processes
  • Experience in Information Systems/Technology or Engineering in a corporate or educational environment (pharma, biotech, tech firms, consulting, other) as a technical business analyst, developer, DBA
  • High technical capability and ability to quickly evolve into a technical and functional expert on Veeva Vault with responsibility to implement configurations for lifecycles, workflows, security settings, reports, objects, document types/subtypes, etc.
  • Experience producing SDLC documentation such as Business Process/Functional and Technical Specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate, facilitate and work within a complex matrix organization
  • Passionate about hands-on work and bring expertise in configuration with Veeva Vault RIM, Veeva Vault, or other COTS. Alternatively, a strong motivation to grow into a hands-on configurator role
  • Experience working with internal business clients to understand their business processes, handle scope of work/expectations and suggest/recommend IS solutions
  • Experience with coordinating with software vendors/suppliers during release planning and development, and resolution of any major issues in the application
  • Knowledge of, and experience with implementing and supporting COTS (configurable off the shelf) applications in the life sciences industry
  • Working knowledge of Agile project methodologies and working in Product teams
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal interpersonal skills, including demonstrable experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective
  • Experience working in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry and current approaches to GxP computer related systems
