ROLE SUMMARY

As Pfizer endeavors to expand its leadership in I&I, we are preparingfor the potential launch of a new medicine (Etrasimod) in the next 1.5 years to support patients with ulcerative colitis. Etrasimod has the potential for best-in-class efficacy in Ulcerative Colitis, and a robust risk-benefit profile that would be complementary to the current portfolio; potentially enabling treatment of a broader sub-set of UC patients​. Etrasimod is a critical launch asset for I&I with accountability to contribute growth over the next 3 years.

In order for Etrasimod to be successful we will need to earn that position through a strong and purposeful value proposition that not only differentiates clinically but differentiates experientially and emotionally and in a manner customers and patients see as meaningful.

The Global Patient and Physician Experience lead will be the champion/enabler of meaningful innovation – ensuring we deliver on a transformative launch in the Ulcerative Colitis market and redefine the UC patient journey

This role reports to the Senior Director: Global Team Lead:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead our Global communities of practice to enable delivery of a best in class customer experiences
  • Help solve and employ a strategy for simplifying the customer experience around EKG pre-testing – building off of efforts and in collaboration with the US market efforts
  • Serve as strategic liaison to several anchor markets to facilitate Global and local collaboration, best practices sharing, local insights gathering
  • Drive and collaborate with key US and IDM markets to execute a best-in class commercial launch for Etrasimod, acting as a dedicated partner
  • Champion capability-building globally and partnership to support country cross-functional teams.
  • Omnichannel Strategic Leadership/Design
  • Driven by key insights and aligned to critical strategic imperatives, help to maximize HCP engagement and asset growth.
  • Own the design & implementation of omnichannel strategy for Etrasimod. Enable a focused, coordinated & impactful cadence of communications across offline and online channels that transform the way we engage target HCPs
  • Aligned to the critical insights and strategic imperatives for the brand
  • Design an array of promotionally meaningful approaches for communicating with customers across relevant channels
  • Identify incremental opportunities to enhance content & channel adoption & orchestration to enhance customer impact.
  • HCP engagement design in line with Bold Move 3.3 strategies and principles
  • Evaluate partners, channels and technology that will drive brand uptake at launch
  • Work in close partnership with the US Omnichannel marketing team
  • Continuously measure the impact of marketing initiatives, generating early learning, and driving continuous improvement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong marketing, analytical and strategic skills including ability to identify and prioritize strategic challenges and balance short term needs with long-term vision; can manage through ambiguity
  • Proven ability to proactively lead the thinking - connect, communicate, influence, and persuade others
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with internal and external senior leaders
  • Experience collaborating with, influencing, and leading cross functional and GLocal teams
  • Achieves results through others across functions, geographies, and a variety of personality styles
  • Ability to plan, organize, focus, and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of urgency
  • Demonstrated understanding of the operational complexities required to execute against GLocal Launch readiness in a highly competitive market
  • Must be mature, self-drive and have exceptional learning agility.
  • BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree in a related field preferred.
  • A commitment to excellence – both in the results achieved and in how they are achieved

PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in US or global pharmaceutical marketing
  • Strong marketing, analytical and strategic skills including ability to identify and prioritize strategic challenges and balance short term needs with long-term vision; can manage through ambiguity
  • Proven ability to proactively lead the thinking - connect, communicate, influence, and persuade others

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Travel up to 25%
  • Collaboration with IDM Markets that may require International Meetings
  • US and International Meetings and Congress Travel
