Senior Manager Global Commercial Development

ROLE SUMMARY

Internal Medicine is an exciting and dynamic area with multiple assets in development across a number of disease states with the potential to help millions of people worldwide.

The Senior Manager, Commercial Development role will be responsible for a number of initiatives within the group that will advance the portfolio including: preparation for a an asset for anorexia to enter phase 2 trials including collaborating with BAI on market research on pricing, HCP demand, future landscaping, and patient flow modeling; market development for a non-invasive method of diagnosing NASH; owning the cross-pipeline forecast and asset summary for use by senior leadership, US, IDM, and EM points of contact; managing the commercial development operating expense budget; and collaborating with colleagues in Communications on cross-pipeline PR activities.

The role will collaborate with all colleagues on the Commercial Development team presenting an excellent opportunity to learn from highly experienced marketers.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare anorexia asset for phase 2 including asset valuation, future landscaping, competitive intelligence analysis, indication strategy development
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director NASH Lead on market development to devise a non-invasive method to diagnose NASH
  • Own the cross-pipeline revenue forecast and asset summary documents
  • Act as point of contact for IDM, EM, and US colleagues seeking updates on the IM portfolio
  • Lead cross-pipeline PR activities in collaboration with the Communications team
  • Manage the Commercial Development budget to ensure that expenses meet financial targets

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of marketing, commercial development, market analytics, or business assessment in pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology companies.
  • BA/BS required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience creating market research plans and collaborating with BAI on market research analyses
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with the execution of HCP demand and payer market research
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate well with cross-functional partners including BAI, Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, and Communications colleagues
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and succinctly
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical development process
  • Familiarity with Regulatory process for drug approvals
