Research Associate - Biology - III

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative scientist with expertise in virology and drug discovery to support our internal research efforts to identify therapeutics for Hepatitis B and Hepatitis D infections. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting key biological experiments independently that are focused on the discovery, profiling and preclinical evaluation of antiviral therapeutics. The candidate will also work closely with senior personnel and communicate data to a team

Required Years of Experience: BS or MS in virology, cell biology, or a related scientific discipline with 3+ years in biopharmaceutical industry or academics

Top 3 Required Skill Sets:
1. Experience in cell culture techniques—particularly primary human hepatocyte;
2. Experience in virology with strong experimental background;
3. Experience in cell and molecular biology

Top 3 nice to have skills:
1. Experience in HBV or HDV;
2. Experience in high-throughput assays with compound dose response (qPCR, ELISA, CLIA, etc.);
3. Basic data analysis with GraphPad Prism
