Role Description:  

We are currently seeking a Commercial Operations Analyst to join the Forge Biologics team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and be part of a team that will be instrumental to the growth of the organization. The Commercial Operations Analyst is a key contributor on the analysis, design and execution of the overall reporting for the commercial operations department. This position requires a solid understanding of the organization’s business needs and technical capabilities of our CRM and PPM solutions.  This position will be working either full time onsite at our offices in Columbus, OH, or may be open to work in a hybrid situation that would require travel to Columbus, only as needed, depending on the role.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Build tools and reporting to continuously evaluate commercial operations teams performance towards KPI’s. 
  • Prepares recurring reports, scorecard reporting, and ad hoc needs across the department. 
  • Develops dashboards and other data visualizations to facilitate data informed decision making. 
  • Support CRM and PPM adoption and lead ongoing engagement with IT including user management, data management, application setup, customization, reporting and dashboards 
  • Leverage in-app reporting tools and other data-mining techniques and analyze results. 
  • Effectively communicate analysis and results to senior management and leadership. 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, statistics, finance, or related field 
  • 2+ years of analytical related experience required 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables. 
  • HubSpot and / or Smartsheet experience a plus. 
  • Understanding of basic relational database management and data encapsulation principles.   
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment of change, challenge and multiple deadlines and priorities.
