We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled research associate to join the Oncology and Angiogenesis team at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating novel therapeutic antibodies. They will effectively and frequently collaborate with colleagues in the Oncology and Angiogenesis department as well as other departments.

As a Senior R&D Specialist, a typical day may include the following:

-  Organize the study, implant tumors, and dose the animals

-  Measure tumor growth, and use a variety of assays to understand the mechanisms of action including flow cytometry, cytokine ELISAs/MSD

-  Ability to troubleshoot and adapt the experimental design based on emerging data

-  You are a strong team player with a demonstrated ability to work independently to design experiments, interpret data, troubleshoot, and suggest next steps

To be considered for this position, you must have a BS + 8 or an MS with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the area of Oncology, Immunology, Immuno-oncology. Experience with pre-clinical tumor models including mouse handling, tumor cell implantation and tissue dissection is required. Experience with multi-parameter FACs and analysis is required. We are seeking experience with the growth and maintenance of human tumor cell lines. Experience in immunoassay techniques (e.g., ELISAs and Mesoscale as well as cell purification) is preferred. Candidate should be competent in standard scientific software used for data analysis (e.g., Microsoft Excel and Prism) as well as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
