Pfizer Oncology has been a pioneer in Precision Medicine with biomarker therapies in mNSCLC. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards the continued success of our Global Lung portfolio by spearheading critical components to drive success with Lorbrena and beyond.

This individual will lead the development and execution of strategy and tactics for Lorbrena. Work will span Lorbrena 1L launch efforts and competitive strategy for the brand, working collaboratively in GLocal model to drive preference vs. competition and build effective campaigns. The candidate will also help set and execute the vision for digital transformation to effectively reach customers, and drive planning and cross-functional collaboration to achieve desired outcomes.

The candidate needs to demonstrate the ability to engage people, lead within a highly matrixed structure, have excellent communication skills, have high learning agility, and be able to work seamlessly with the country teams.

This role requires strong strategic, communication, and analytical thinking as well as creativity, prioritization skills, and an ability to inspire and partner with external and internal stakeholders.

  • Lead overarching brand strategy development, drive development and implementation of HCP strategies and initiatives, including core messages and campaign to ensure competitive differentiation

  • Work collaboratively (GLocal) with regions and priority markets to maximize opportunities for Lorbrena

  • Ensure global readiness for competitor data readouts, leading competitive strategy development and scenario planning and delivering resources for country teams

  • Development of Lorbrena global guidance to countries with regards to 3 year strategic and financial planning

  • Support the development and implementation of core HCP promotional materials (personal and non-personal) and demonstrate a high level of autonomous decision making

  • Executional excellence with regards to global pull through of key initiatives, tactics, and deliverables leveraging BM 3.3 framework

  • Manage agency of record, ensuring clear and robust scopes of work, appropriate staffing, excellence in execution, and timely and efficient budget management

  • Serve as liaison to several Anchor markets to facilitate Global and local collaboration, best practices sharing, local insights gathering

  • Lead portfolio competitive intelligence gathering, turning insights into action

  • Key liaison to BAI designing analytics and insights that inform next level strategic and tactical plans

  • Support key leadership deliverables and communications

  • Cross functional partnership with Medical, BAI, and PHI

  • Mentor next generation talent within the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS required, advanced degree preferred

  • 8-10 years of commercial experience in the biopharmaceutical industry

  • Oncology, specialty, rare disease, or diagnostics experience preferred

  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to engage experts from a wide range of functional areas to improve business performance

  • Demonstrated ability to manage advertising and other agencies to produce communications that impact business performance

  • Confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create, and bring ambiguity into action

  • Strong analytical skills; detail and action oriented; creative

  • Solid business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management

  • Solid understanding of today’s Global and US pharmaceutical environment, incl. Regulatory, Legal and Compliance
