Facilities Technician

List Biological Laboratories, Inc. is a privately held company located in Campbell. The company is a leading contract development and manufacturing organization for bacterial derived products for early clinical trials including live biotherapeutic products derived from the rapidly growing exciting field of microbiome therapeutics. List Labs also specializes in the production of both native and recombinant bacterial proteins and toxins used for research and development.

We are seeking a highly talented, highly motivated, and self-driven Facilities Technician. This function is responsible for the operation and maintenance of biomanufacturing buildings and equipment, oversee systems that include heating, lighting, refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, water purification, air filtering, and electrical systems directly or by managing 3rd party specialist/service provider. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.

• Maintain, monitor and operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, utilities, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs.

• Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations.

• Respond to equipment and facility alarms and related emergencies.

• Maintain and repair lab/facility equipment.

• Assist and support other group with facility related issues.

• Involve in with contractor's preventative maintenance, troubleshoots, repairs.

• Work with facility manager to perform equipment calibration and validation.

• Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.

• Other assigned tasks as requested.

• QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Technical degree/ HVAC certification preferred but not required.

• 5+ years of related experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC, facility and mechanical systems.

• Experience in working in GMP facility environment strongly preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment is critical.

• Fortitude to complete all tasks independently, properly, and on time.

• Capable of multitasking and meet expectation in a rapid pace working environment.

• Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.

• Standing, walking, sitting, reading, stooping, climbing ladders, crawling in/ through low spaces.

• Maintain detailed and accurate reports.

• Heavy lifting and moving, computers and related equipment, heavy equipment.

• Work outside on building roof, hot and cold weather.
