General Scope and Summary
SAGE Therapeutics is searching for a creative, resourceful, integrative thinker for an important contract role supporting DEC operations. You should have expertise in implementing and supporting both applications and DEC infrastructure. You will partner closely with the multi-functional operations leaders and teams at the site on projects, initiatives, process improvements, important metrics, and critical issues. You will work closely with our DEC team on communication and change management.
Roles and Responsibilities
Support DEC operational team.
Coordinate business demand with internal DEC teams and partners.
Develop a roadmap of DEC initiatives.
Develop DEC metrics and continuously work to improve.
Efficiently handle DEC issues and requests.
Regularly coordinate with internal customers on DEC solutions.
Assist with the onboarding and offboarding process. Able to setup systems, access, new account creation, and new hire orientation.
Participate in DEC projects up to and including project budgets.
Handle business priorities and partner concerns.
Align teams and document processes.
Coordinate the scheduling and planning for DEC team meetings.
Frequently communicate global and corporate DEC standards and changes.
Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Must thrive working in a fast-paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, and the ability to identify issues and raise to key stakeholders in order to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs, and recommendations.
Basic Qualifications
HS degree required.
5+ years of experience working in DEC operations or equivalent role.
Preferred Qualifications
BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related degree preferred.
Experience working with internal multi-functional teams on DEC initiatives.
Experience installing, developing, or supporting software applications.
Experience implementing or supporting DEC infrastructure.
Experience working in life sciences, biotech, or pharma.
Ability to engage respectfully with partners and communicate changes.
Ability to identify technical issues related to IT infrastructure and applications.
Knowledge of common cyber security threats and preventative measures.
Knowledge of SCRUM, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders. An ability to influence for greater outcomes.
Strong team player that has a customer service approach and is solution-oriented.
Attention to detail and the ability to work individually, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors.
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills.
