GRAIL is seeking a Program Manager Operations within Medical AffairsThe ideal candidate is a clear and precise communicator, detail-oriented, driven, independent, and able to respond quickly to evolving needs. This role will report to the Sr. Director Medical Information, but will be a cross-functional role (interacting with multiple functions within Medical Affairs, including Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Independent Medical Education, External Sponsored Research, Multi-stakeholder Education, KOL Engagement, Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Information, Medical Communications/Publications).

You Will:
  • Works with head of Medical Affairs to coordinate Medical Affairs Planning strategic documents, such as Medical Affairs plans/slide decks, and tracking of metrics, key performance indicators, and milestones
  • Coordinates with similar operations roles in other departments across GRAIL
  • Solicits input and sets agenda, as well as coordinates, Medical Affairs Team Meetings (e.g., Medical Affairs Leadership Team and Medical Affairs Department Team meetings) (e.g., agendas, minutes, follow-up)
  • Work with Medical Affairs functional leads to identify and maintain relevant SOPs for Medical Affairs
  • Oversee contracting and processing of SOWs and agreements, Apttus contract requests and renewals, Coupa purchase order requests and updates
  • Liaison for Investigator Sponsored Research (IST) submissions and tracking (e.g., manage workstream, review of materials coordination) (in the absence of an IST headcount)
  • Establish and maintain Medical Affairs team dashboards and key performance indicators, and work with teams to communicate program status through periodic dashboards and other reporting materials
  • Coordinates Salesforce version improvements for medical cross-functional teams
  • Organize Medical Affairs Drive (shared folders/files)Provides operational support for meetings with external stakeholders, for example:Expert panelsAdvisory board meetings
  • Executive Steering Committee meetings
  • Organizes Medical Affairs all-hands (may be off-site) meeting logistics


Your Background Will Include:
  • Project management training/experience and education required 3+ years in the pharmaceutical/ biotechnology/device industry, including 2+ years project planning experience
  • Experience in Medical Affairs is highly desirable
  • An independently motivated working style with good problem-solving skills, allowing analysis, synthesis, and compilation of data from a broad range of disciplines
  • A demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, work simultaneously on multiple projects, and complete high-quality documents according to timelines
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced, cohesive, collaborative team-oriented work environment
  • A background in molecular biology/genomics, oncology, cell-free nucleic acids, or diagnostics a plus
  • Strong Google Suite (Gdocs, Gsheets, Gslides) and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills required; experience using Adobe Creative Suite/Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign) a plus
