Specialist, Inventory Control

Responsibilities:
  • Generates, analyses, and updates reports needed for internal audit, business reviews and requests.
  • Compiles data from ERP and other systems to make one master dataset for periodic reporting.
  • Responsible to troubleshoot and resolve all variances reported. Supports other sites to investigate inventory management concerns or errors.
  • Assists in developing program policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with company objectives and goals.
  • Collects, organizes, analyzes, and/or prepares materials in response to requests for information and reports.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other staff in planning, development, implementation, analysis, and documentation of inventory needs and logistics.
  • Assists in the receipt, identification, and documentation of inventory
  • Coordinates and collaborates with staff to forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
  • Manages inventory stock levels and locations in the warehouse and in ERP system
  • Responsible for overall inventory accuracy
  • Manage inventory statuses
  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with organizations policies, procedures, regulatory guidance, and laws.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Management or Logistics preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years business experience in Supply Chain.
  • Inventory management experience.
  • Data management experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system such as SAP is required.
  • Must be an organized, detailed-oriented person with excellent critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to take the initiative and work independently with limited supervision
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate concisely and effectively
  • Willingness to learn new skills and operate independently
  • Ability to multitask, track progress, experience writing SOPs
  • Excellent, professional communications skills to build and maintain positive partner relationships with internal Sales, QA, IT, Supply Chain, and management teams.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
  • Must be able to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs easily
  • Must be able to adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards
