The Role:

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the talent engine fueling a high-growth organization that is radically disrupting the biotech industry. As Moderna continues to pursue rapid expansion of our pipeline, we have a need to scale our global Talent Acquisition organization and invest in innovative digital programs to support talent acquisition worldwide. The newly created role of Program Manager, Talent Acquisition will be the business leader implementing and managing enterprise-wide programs focused on Digitizing our global talent acquisition and candidate experiences.

Based in Cambridge, MA, This role will own and manage a portfolio of programmatic work across TA focused on digital enablement and innovation and will be seen as the lead for Talent Acquisition for any initiative they are running. Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Lead programs that completely differentiate Moderna as an employer in the global marketplace with a focus on digital programs that deliver a differentiating candidate experience and empower our recruiters to bring the best and brightest to Moderna.

  • Drive and manage multiple TA-focused Digital programs and projects using structured project management methodologies and technologies to organize your work.

  • Create and enable the implementation of change initiatives across Talent Acquisition Programs; Work with key stakeholders across the organization and guide them to adapt to new ways of working, identifying change impacts and creating change management plans.

  • Work cross-functionally with HR Operations, HR Business Partners, Procurement, Legal and Digital to pull together work teams to successfully see initiatives through.

  • Behave as an owner including planning and executing all communications, training, change management and associated process documentation to support the continuous improvement of your programs.

  • Leverage your Talent Acquisition experience to develop and execute new and creative ways to support the attraction of talent to Moderna digitizing everywhere possible to scale intelligently, incorporating automation, machine learning and AI.  

  • Be collaborative with our Digital organization to ensure we are leveraging cutting edge technology across TA Programs – including AI, machine learning and other automation technologies.

  • Obsess over learning and display a passion for continuous improvement by bringing new ideas to the table, assessing potential benefit to Moderna and measuring success of new and existing programs.

  • We support a global team so the ability to work flexibly across time-zones on occasion is needed. Travel will be approx. 10-20%.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in project and program management in a globally scaled HR/TA function. Global biopharma or high-tech industries preferred. 

  • Exceptional project management experience and proven experience leading highly creative digital/AI-based HR programs that have a tangible impact on the business.

  • Must be able to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with building and developing project communication pla

  • Experience driving global digital transformation and change management in cross-functional organizations.

  • Demonstrated experience using change management tools such as Prosci and program communications experience.

  • Advanced level in productivity tools; SmartSheet highly preferred.

  • This role is physically located in our Cambridge, MA office 2-3 days/week.

  • Experience in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and ability to manage parallel priorities.

  • Experience with talent assessment tools, talent identification, campus recruiting, D&I recruiting and recruitment marketing.

  • Lean Six Sigma training (if you don't have this, we can get you certified in Six Sigma).
